Founder and principal of Architrave Interior Design, Moe Draz finds meaningful connections and mental escape at Rhapsody.

“Outside of obvious improvements in physical fitness and athleticism, I’ve made wonderful friendships and valuable professional connections.”

What is your story?

I always knew I wanted to be an interior designer even before I realized it was really a profession. Armed with a historic preservation degree from the College of Charleston and background in graphic design, I’ve managed more than 20 extensive custom residential design projects over 10 years with a few featured in Tuscan Style Magazine, Beautiful Kitchens & Baths, Traditional Home and more.

In 2016, I ventured out on my own and launched Architrave, a full-service residential interior design firm serving distinguished dwellers across the country. All about that entrepreneurial hustle and loving doing life on my terms, I haven’t looked back since.

What brought you to Rhapsody CrossFit?

Alan’s cute ass! (as it did most of my fellow members…)

I met Alan and Trinity at a group workout downtown and I ended up stranded (long story). They gave me a ride and we became fast friends.

The dynamic duo invited me to a Rhapsody workout and I fell in love with the training, vision and community.

What have you gotten out of your experience with Rhapsody CrossFit?

Outside of obvious improvements in physical fitness and athleticism, I’ve made wonderful friendships and valuable professional connections.

It’s not easy to make meaningful new friendships in your mid-thirties while neck deep in running a business and advancing a career…but something about slogging through a sweat session together has a way of bonding people.

How does Rhapsody arm you to be better at what you do outside of the box – mentally and/or physically?

Well, physically, I can lift heavier boxes and move larger furniture around – interior design isn’t always about vision boards and swatches.

But mentally, for an hour everyday, Rhapsody provides me with a mental escape from my schedule and commitments. After finishing my WOD every morning, I leave feeling empowered and ready to conquer the rest of my day.
