CrossFit-On-The-Go-Rhapsody-CrossFitIt’s getting to be that special time of year – travel season. Whether you have travel plans for the holidays, work or a family vacation, you may find yourself far away from your regular community.

You may see traveling as the cause of an inevitable setback. And while it’s true that you may not be able to do WODs that require barbells or special equipment, it doesn’t mean that you must put your daily workouts totally on hold while you’re away.

Your hotel may have a gym or a fitness room. But there’s no guarantee that you’ll find the exact equipment that you’re looking for. But don’t worry! You can get in a great workout right from your hotel room – and with zero equipment.

Why not raise the bar while you’re on the road? Try one (or all) of these on the go workouts and stay fit while you’re away from home.

1. Descending Ladder

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1:
Jumping Air Squats
Push-Ups
Sit-Ups
(Optional: Add a 100m Run/Sprint at the end of each set.)

2. Tabata!

(A full set of Tabata intervals includes 8 rounds of 20 seconds on/10 seconds rest.)

3. Run It Out

Remember, when you’re on the road to adjust your expectations and keep an open mind. Get in what you can and do your best to be as consistent with your workouts as you would at home. Get creative and have fun!
