Walk/Jog/Run/Bike Across The Ravenel Bridge

Get over it! The Arthur Ravenel Bridge (or “Cooper River Bridge” to locals) is famous for its cable-stayed and two-diamond shaped towers design. While the relief of traffic is a focal point, the bike and pedestrian lanes are quite popular getting outside and seeing some of the best views of the Charleston skyline.

Appropriately located right on the water, the South Carolina Aquarium is all about connecting people with wildlife and wild places. From unique exhibits and events to its proprietary Sea Turtle Care Center, this indoor oasis is a perfect outing for all ages and abilities.

We are big on the arts. You could spend a lifetime perusing acclaimed fine art galleries, listening to rich jazz or doubling over during a comedy show. We couldn’t decide on just one recommendation for the Charleston Arts, but these four options are stellar places to start.
